Set up a Saxony XL with a model-specific plan
Use the model number on the boxes to select the correct assembly instructions. A successful setup depends on the site, support, hardware and handling plan as well as how quickly the frame goes together.
Resolve the site before opening the kit
Compare the intended position with the Saxony XL anchoring layout. Check overhead and underground services, the proposed support surface and the grill’s restrictions on covered operation. Do not use the kit’s nominal dimensions as the anchor-spacing plan.
Organize the build
- Inventory the parts and report damage or shortages.
- Sort boards and fasteners by their identifiers.
- Read ahead to roof-handling and final anchoring stages.
- Arrange helpers and access equipment for those stages.
Keep the sequence intact
Check alignment and the specified hardware as each stage is completed. Do not force a mismatch by drilling new holes or switching to a different screw. The Arcadia video below illustrates a different model and cannot establish a Saxony completion time.
Finish before putting equipment underneath
Complete the manual’s assembly and anchoring checks, then verify appliance clearances in the finished layout. Read the separate PowerPort instructions for that accessory. Keep the manual, part numbers and installation record available for future care or replacement parts.
