- Watch roof panels and hardware for damage or corrosion.
- Record areas that stay wet or collect debris.
Use the correct roof and care information
The Barrington 12×12 listing specifies a steel roof. Care advice for an asphalt-shingle roof does not describe this kit. Keep the exact manual, parts list and finish instructions with your installation records.
Distinguish upkeep from repair
Cleaning and compatible finish care can address routine exposure. They do not restore missing wood strength or resolve a shifting foundation. Have damage to a load-bearing component assessed and obtain matching replacement-part advice before continuing use.
