Check the base against the drawing
For the Arcadia 12×9.5 example, use the manufacturer’s support and anchoring layout. Confirm the base is square, level and suitable for permanent attachment. Do not assume loose gravel or pavers provide an equivalent anchoring system.
Check the part before the fastener
- Read the stamped identifier instead of choosing by appearance.
- Verify orientation before fastening.
- Use the hardware called for in that step.
- Pause if holes do not align rather than drilling an improvised replacement.
Plan the large-component stages
Look ahead to understand handling space, helper needs and safe access for the roof assembly. Keep tools and packaging out of movement routes. Build time should include these preparations and final checks, not just fastening the visible frame.
Complete a handover check
