Arcadia 20×9.5 review: a long rectangular layout to measure carefully
The 20×9.5 Arcadia is worth comparing when you want a long covered area. Its suitability depends on the actual post layout, furniture and access routes, not an assumed seating capacity.
The model discussed here is the Backyard Discovery Arcadia 20′ x 9.5′ Cedar Wood Outdoor Gazebo.
Use the dimension drawing
The manufacturer lists overall dimensions of 246.56 by 114.44 inches, with a height of 100.44 inches. Check its drawing for post positions and clear space rather than treating the nominal size as usable interior room.
Lay out the furniture first
- Mark tables or seating at their actual size.
- Include chair movement and a clear route through the space.
- Check doors, nearby structures and roof overhangs.
- Keep cooking equipment subject to its own placement and clearance requirements.
Ownership trade-offs
The long shape can suit a linear layout, but a deeper seating arrangement may work better under a different footprint. Compare the total installation and care cost, including the base, assembly and any accessories.
The video shows a different size
Preston’s build below is the 12×9.5 Arcadia. It is helpful background, but it does not establish a four-to-eight-hour build or a two-person lifting plan for the larger kit.
