The Arcadia 12×9.5 requires an attachment plan matched to its support surface. A generic four-pier depth or universal bolt recommendation leaves out soil, concrete condition, local requirements and the kit’s own anchoring layout.

For model 2306073B, the Arcadia assembly manual provides setup notes on page 2, an anchoring layout on page 3 and final anchoring instructions. Confirm the model and revision before using those details.
Concrete and decks need different preparation
- The manual includes hardware for mounting to concrete.
- It does not include the hardware needed for permanent attachment to a wood deck.
- A deck needs adequate structural support below the attachment location.
- The supporting surface must start square and level.
Questions to settle before drilling
Check the proposed foundation, anchor layout and substrate with the installer. Locate utilities before excavation. If the existing slab or deck cannot be verified as suitable, obtain a foundation assessment before using the supplied hardware.
Complete the specified system
Follow the manual’s hole locations, hardware and installation sequence rather than substituting improvised brackets or fastening only into deck boards. Do not treat patio pavers, loose blocks or ground stakes as equivalent to the specified permanent attachment.
Keep the installation record
Save the manual, model label and details of the support and anchors. They give the next owner or repair professional a better starting point than a photo of the finished roof alone.
